Neil founded The Big Match in 2012 after deciding to make a difference to two amazing charities for personal reasons. The 2012 was designed to be a fun kick about on the pitch at Reading FC, the club his dad loved so much. The players raised £10k and something clicked which made Neil believe the event could become something a lot bigger. And so he set about inviting celebrities and ex professional players to join the local players and raise as much money for his chosen charities. The rest is history as this fantastic family event gives a 50/50 split to help the development of brain tumour research, alongside helping thousands of underprivileged children up and down the county.
